Motyka, woda, sen: jak rośnie pole w Lone Genesis

In Lone Genesis a field is one grid cell. The hoe does not work on water and does not cover a hole: you till solid ground. The tile stays tilled. Trees do not spawn on it. Animals walk around it. The shovel, if the soil is empty, gives the meadow back.

The watering can marks the day. The rain you see is weather: wetting the crop is your work. When you plant, the soil is dry again. Mixed seeds are not a fresh roll every click: the same cell, on the same world day, always yields the same crop. Wheat, tomato or pumpkin: four sprites, from sprout to fruit. Ripe wheat gives three ears and a seed; tomato two; pumpkin one.

The day advances when you sleep, not while you walk. Only a watered field climbs one stage. In the morning the water is due again. You harvest by hand at the last stage: the soil stays tilled for the next round. Those fields live in the world save, on the account, not in the browser tab.
